Note the hiatus (shown by vertical lines in the lithostratigraphic column) between the Bayport Limestone and Saginaw Formation times. There is a significant unconformity at the base of the Saginaw Formation (wavy line). Keep this in mind as you explore the geology: due to the unconformity, interpretations of the Saginaw paleoenvironment need not obey Walther's Law, following the marine Bayport Limestone (the options are open)!
